To the satisfaction of the DCAF programme for support of the Assembly, with which the strategic partnership began in 2018, with the signing of the first Memorandum of Understanding for the implementation of the project Development of Parliamentary and Independent Oversight, and thanks to international partners such as the European Union, Netherlands, Sweden and Switzerland, which contributed to the success of the current project, cooperation continues until 2026.

President Xhaferi referred to the benefits of the cooperation with DCAF within the Intelligence and Security Sector Reform Programme in the Republic of North Macedonia and expressed confidence that the Shielded Room in the Assembly will be operational soon, which will fully put into use the procured equipment under the Programme. He stressed that the reforms in the security and intelligence sector are aimed at greater stability, rule of law and security of the state and citizens, and meeting the standards of the European Union in this area.
